"My son trained with Helmut for over 4 years, both in private and soccer club sessions. Every session had a deliberate plan with an end goal in mind and every aspect of goalkeeping was covered. My son started out with Helmut as a promising shot blocker but over time with Helmut became an excellent technical all round goalkeeper, ultimately earning a yearly soccer scholarship at a Western Canada University.
My son had so much respect for Helmut we were always early for practice. Helmut would always include Matt in sessions that included incredible university level goalies - he got to see up close what it would take to reach that level.
